Carol Bell-Cooper

Carol Bell-Cooper Born and reared in Chicago Ill but grew up in Tupelo, MS, Carol has also been singing since a very young age.  Inspired by a musical mother and father, Carol quickly found out that she not only loved music but that she also had a natural talent to display to the world that consist of her culturally diverse world.  Although she grew up in the birth place of Elvis, she found success in Jackson, MS.  But while in tupelo, she performed and sang with the legendary song writers and producer duo Sam Mosley and Bob Johnson of the blues group Mosley and Johnson.  This is where she began to understand that not only did she have the ability to sing but that she had a very soulful and powerful message waiting to present to the world.

In her pursuit to want more for her musical career and explore the southern soul world, Carol moved to Jackson, MS and soon after joined a local band called 24/7.  She sang and performed in 24/7 for 17 years touring the college frat scene and private event markets.  She also met her duo husband to be "DC" in this band.  Carol performed and sang throughout the south with 24/7 and also had the opportunity to feature her vocal ability with blues artists such as Ronnie Love Joy on the southern soul smash "Don't Take it Personal".
